The due date for submission of ITR-V for A.Y. 2010-11 has been extended upto 31.10.2011 or 120 days from the date of upload whichever is later.

To give an opportunity for the assessees who have filed their returns online (E filing) and are yet to receive an acknowledgement after sending the signed ITR-V forms to the CPC , Bangalore, the Income-tax Department has extended the time limit for submitting the signed ITR-V forms in respect of A.Y.2010-11 (F.Y.2009-10) till 31st October 2011.
This will be useful for the following assessees :-
1) Assessees who have submitted their returns for the A.Y.2010-11 and have not sent their signed ITR-V forms to CPC , Bangalore.
2) Assessees who have submitted their returns for the A.Y.2010-11 and have sent their signed ITR-V forms to CPC,Bangalore but the receipt status is showing as “Not Received” .
The signed ITR-V shall be sent to the following address either by Ordinary Post or Speed Post :-

Bangalore – 560100
Please note that the ITR-V’s sent by Courier/Hand Delivery/at Local Income-tax Office will not be accepted.
