In view of the Integration of LLP Portal with MCA Portal and subsequent non availability of LLP system for filing documents, the Central Government has through its circular has notified that the Annual return of LLPs shall be filed upto a period of 90 days from the end of the financial year as against 60 days from the end of the financial year. (
Effectively, for the year ended 31st March 2012, the Form 11 Annual return in respect of an LLP shall be filed on or before 30th June 2012.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs have informed that the LLP Portal (www.llp.gov.in) will not be available for e filing from 1st of June 2012 to 10th of June 2012.
This is being done to integrate the LLP Portal with the MCA portal. After the Integration, all the LLP services will be available in MCA21 portal itself. This is being done with a view to provide more efficient service to the stakeholders.

As per recent Notification from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the DPIN (Designated Partner Identification Number) has been replaced by DIN (Director Identification). In view of the above, any person who is intending to become a designated partner in an LLP shall apply for DIN and get the same approved.
If a person holds both DIN and DPIN, the DPIN shall stand cancelled and he shall continue to use the DIN.
